Gunmen Kidnaps Mr Joshua Oshe aka (Jayjay) and two others in Suku-Kiri community

…Demands #30 million ransom

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped 3 people namely, Mr Joshua Oshe, aka (Jayjay), Abayomi Jonathan and
Elisha, an operator from Kaduna State from their respective homes in Suku – Kiri Community, Bunu District of Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi State in the early hours of today.

An eyewitness who didn’t want his name in print confirmed that the kidnappers struck about 2am shooting sporadically to scare people around and kidnapped their victims.

He said the people of Kiri communities are now living in fear not knowing who will be the next victim, adding that the issue of kidnapping in the area has become rampant that happens on a daily basis.

Meanwhile the people of the communities are calling on the security agencies and state government to help in protecting their lives, properties and also secure the release of those kidnapped.

According to the source, the kidnappers has since contacted the families demand a ransom of thirty million naira (#30m) before they can be released.

Meanwhile, efforts to get the reaction of the Nigeria Police on the issue proved abortive as calls and WhatsApp messages sent to the Police PRO have not been responded to as at the time of filing in this report.
