HAJIYA RAMATU IBRAHIM CONGRATULATES NEWLY APPOINTED COAS, HAILS PRESIDENT TINUBU

By Ahiaba Douglas

The Jaruma Mata of Africa and Chief Executive Officer of Habz Hotel and Suites, Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim, has congratulated General Waidi Shaibu on his appointment as the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Hajiya Ramatu described the news of Gen. Shaibu’s appointment as one received with overwhelming excitement and jubilation, particularly among the people of Kogi State. She noted that the new Army Chief is not only from the state but also a brother from the Igala Kingdom, whose distinguished military career has long served as an inspiration and a source of pride to the people of Kogi.

The APC chieftain further commended President Tinubu for once again demonstrating his unwavering commitment to finding lasting solutions to Nigeria’s security challenges. She highlighted Gen. Shaibu’s impressive track record in the fight against insecurity, especially insurgency, as proof of his competence and dedication to national service.

According to her, the appointment of Gen. Shaibu has further vindicated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu against the claims of critics who accuse his administration of clannishness. She described the President as a detribalized leader who prioritizes competence, excellence, and professionalism over ethnic or regional considerations—ensuring that every part of the country enjoys a sense of belonging.

Hajiya Ramatu also called on Nigerians, especially the people of Kogi State, to remain steadfast in their support for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Tinubu’s administration. She urged continued backing for the Renewed Hope Agenda and the multi-sectoral reforms already underway to reposition the nation for growth and stability.
