HIGH-SOCIETY WEDDING: GOVERNOR AHMED USMAN ODOODO’S REPRESENTATIVE SHINES AT IG’S SON’S WEDDING

The wedding of Victor Adewale, son of Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbedokun, was a grand affair that drew the crème de la crème of Nigerian society to the Redeemed Church in Victoria Island, Lagos. Among the dignitaries in attendance was Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd), State Security Adviser, who represented His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State.

The ceremony was a masterclass in elegance and sophistication, with Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima. Governors of Ogun, Ekiti, Abia, and Sokoto States were also in attendance, while Anambra, Nasarawa, Rivers, and Kogi States were represented.

Honorable Ministers and members of the National Assembly added to the star-studded guest list, which was topped by the Inspector General of Police, Gbana, who honored his colleague, Kayode Egbetokun.

Commander Jerry Omodara, representing Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, brought a touch of Kogi State’s warmth and hospitality to the occasion. His presence underscored the Governor’s commitment to national unity and his respect for the nation’s top police officer.

As the bride, Anjolaoluwas Olaolueakintan, exchanged vows with Victor Adewale, the atmosphere was electric with joy and celebration. The union marked a new chapter in the lives of the young couple, and the presence of Nigeria’s elite signaled their support for the newlyweds.

In a statement, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo congratulated the happy couple and commended the Inspector General of Police for his dedication to the nation. He also praised Commander Jerry Omodara for representing him with distinction at the high-profile event.

The wedding was a testament to the power of unity and the bonds that tie Nigeria’s leaders together. As the celebration continued into the night, one thing was clear: the marriage of Victor and Anjolaoluwas would be remembered for years to come.
