Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdullahi Commends Senator Karimi on Statewide Scholarship Initiative
The National Coordinator of White Lion Family and Kogi West Coordinator of North Central Advocacy for Development, Hon. Abdulganiyu Abdullahi, has commended Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, for his recent scholarship disbursement to tertiary students of Kogi origin across all 21 Local Government Areas of the state.
In a statement, Abdullahi described Senator Karimi as the “best senator produced in Kogi West”, saying his gesture speaks volumes about his commitment to the people of Kogi State. “This scholarship intervention, valued at about ₦300,000,000 for the 2025/2026 academic session, is a testament to Senator Karimi’s leadership defined by inclusion, fairness, and a clear understanding that our shared future is bigger than zones or political boundaries.”
Abdullahi further noted that Senator Karimi’s gesture is a powerful reminder that progress comes when we build bridges, not barriers, adding that “a Senator representing Kogi West extending a helping hand to students across the entire state is a powerful reminder that progress comes when we build bridges, not barriers. This is how unity is strengthened and trust in governance is renewed.”
He encouraged other public office holders to emulate Senator Karimi’s gesture, stressing that “when leadership is driven by equity and a genuine commitment to people, development becomes inevitable. In the end, we are all winners when Kogi wins.”
Abdullahi urged beneficiaries to make the most of the opportunity and to remain focused on their academic pursuits, adding that “this gesture should inspire excellence, discipline, and a renewed sense of responsibility to the state.”
He concluded by praying for Senator Karimi’s continued success and for a Kogi State that truly works for all, saying “we thank you, Senator, for taking good care of our people and students. We endorse you for a second term for another 4 years. God bless you and protect all your family, amen.
