Hon. Adewale Aledare Receives Democracy Newsline Newspaper Award for Community Development
Hon. Adewale Aledare, the Chief Executive Officer of Johnny’s Hotel and Event Center in Kabba, was honored with a prestigious award from Democracy Newsline Newspaper for his contributions to community development.
The award ceremony took place on October 9th, 2024, at the Banquet Hall of the Merit House in Maitama, Abuja. The event celebrated the fourteen-year anniversary of the media outlet and marked the sixty-fourth anniversary of Nigeria’s political independence.
In his speech, Chief Olugbemi Femi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Michabifem Ventures Limited, the publisher of Democracy Newsline/blog, emphasized the importance of recognizing and appreciating individuals and organizations who have excelled in their respective fields.
During the event, papers were presented on various topics, including the role of social media in the development of the agriculture sector and the personal perspective in Nigerian politics.
Hon. Adewale Aledare’s wife, Mrs. Deborah Omobayo Aledare, received the award on his behalf and expressed the family’s gratitude for the recognition.
Hon. Adewale Aledare and his family have been actively involved in supporting vulnerable groups in society and empowering young entrepreneurs through various initiatives for community development.
