Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Swears-in Local Government Secretary, Supervisors And Other Political Aides

The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, on Thursday, swore-in the secretary to the local government, supervisors and other political aides to the chairman, charging them to key into his vision for the sustainable development of the local government area.

The inauguration which was held at the legislative council chamber, Kabba had in attendance, the local government management, government functionaries and APC members in the local government area.

Speaking on the appointment, Zacchaeus described the appointees as representatives from the academia, professionals and business people.

He charged the new supervisors not to be afraid of taking actions in their respective Departments, stating that it is important for all members of the Local’s Executive Council to study and understand the objectives of the Roadmap for the Restoration Agenda of the local government area, and to key into the same in their respective Departments.

“I am looking forward to seeing you come up with innovative and creative policies that will accelerate Kabba/Bunu LGA journey to greatness.

He said: “This swearing-in is a ceremony but your work is not ceremonious. As you are aware, I desire to see you make focused, intentional and mindful decisions that show that you put our dear local government area and its people above personal interests”.

The Chairman urged the new appointees to see their appointments as further calls to service and to discharge their duties with dedication and absolute loyalty to the State.

While appreciating the chairman for the opportunity given to them, the secretary to the local government, Hon Sunday Ojo assured that he and his colleague would work assiduously to deliver on the mandate and vision of the chairman.

In his remarks, the Kabba/Bunu LGA APC Chairman, Hon Solomon Jembawondo has urged the newly inaugurated appointees to run their departments in a civilized manner with a view to moving the local government area and the APC party to greater heights.

“The people of Kabba/Bunu LGA have high expectation on you, therefore, we expect you to be honest, creative and committed to your responsibilities. And we expect you to do your best to move our local government area to the next level”, he said.

Additionally, the Director for Local Government, Mrs (Dcns.) O.F.R Olorunbogun advised all the appointees to be highly organized, creative in order to contribute your quota to the economic development of Kabba/Bunu LGA.

“You are expected to work as a team with your Head of Departments for effective implementation of our programmes”, she stated.

1. Hon Sunday Ojo, Secretary to the local government
2. Hon (Chief) Aiyenale Fred, Supervisor for Works, Land and Survey
3. Hon Rufus Eniolorunda, Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources
4. Hon (Princess) Omowumi Grace Olowohunwa, Supervisor for Health
5. Hon Isaac Tolorunju, Supervisor for Budget and Planning
6. Hon Kingsley Mokikan, Supervisor for Education

Others are;
1. Hon Aiyeditan Emmanuel, Chief of Staff
2. Hon Olowookere Sulyman, Personal Assistant
3. Hon Omofa John, Chief Press Secretary
4. Hon Gbenga Ajayi, Special Adviser on Media and Strategy
