Hon. Bashir Gegu Cast His Vote, Commend Exercise As peaceful And Credible

At the ongoing local government election taking place in kogi state, the Honourable commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural resources, Engr. Bashir Abubakar Gegu has casted his votes at his home town in Gegu Beki, kogi local government area.

Engr. Gegu said the exercise witnessed mass turnout of electorates adding that the election was peaceful, free, fair, and credible.

“ The election is going on peacefully, this is what our party is known for, the good people of kogi State would agree with us that APC made the best decisions, given the quality of candidates Contesting,

He stressed that Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo has done much for the people of the state , saying that he has improved the welfare of workers and provide the neccessary incentives that will cuising the effect of hardship in the state, “the governor has provided several innovative developmental programmes at the grassroot,” Engr. Gegu stated.

He expressed confidence that the APC would triumph at the polls, given the antecedents of his boss, Gov. Ahmed Ododo and the level of work he had done so far.

The Honourable commissioner observed that the election in kogi local government area was “free, fair and credible” adding that KOSIEC had ensure a level playing ground for all the political parties.
