Hon. Cosmas Enhances Security with Distribution of Security Vans to Odolu, Akpanya Oforachi, Ajaka

the Transition Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government, Hon. Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, has taken proactive measures to bolster security in the region by distributing security vans to the communities of Odolu, Akpanya Oforachi, and Ajaka.

This initiative is part of the local government’s ongoing commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment for the residents of Igalamela/Odolu.

The security vans will be deployed for patrols, serving as a visible deterrent to crime and other security threats.

In his chat with newsmen at the event, Hon. Cosmas noted that, “the safety and well-being of our citizens are paramount, by providing these security vans, we aim to strengthen security presence in Odolu, Akpanya Oforachi, and Ajaka, ensuring that our communities can flourish in a safe environment.” He said.

He added that the distribution of the security vans marks a significant milestone in the local government’s efforts to improve the overall security landscape of Igalamela/Odolu.

Manned by trained security personnel, he said, the vans will collaborate closely with local authorities to promptly respond to security incidents and maintain vigilance in the targeted areas.

“This initiative underscores the local government’s dedication to safeguarding the lives and property of our residents,” he added.

Hon. Cosmas also emphasized that “We are confident that these security vans will foster a heightened sense of safety and security, allowing the people of Igalamela/Odolu to carry out their daily activities with greater peace of mind.” He concluded.
