Hon. Elijah Itsegok Azi Fixes Faulty Borehole, Restores Water Supply to Nukpis Community
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Jos North Local Government Area, Hon. Elijah Itsegok Azi, has restored water supply to the people of Nukpis Community by fixing a faulty borehole that had been non-functional for decades.
This gesture has brought relief to the community, which has been struggling with water scarcity.
The community members have expressed their gratitude, praising Azi’s efforts in improving their lives.
According to them, they had lost hope after the borehole was drilled but remained unfixed for years until Azi intervened.
The community, which hosts several federal institutions, including the Jos University Teaching Hospital and the University of Jos, still faces challenges such as inadequate access to education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
Azi assured the community of his commitment to rendering assistance through intensified lobbying for more projects and personal support.
He highlighted the current administration’s focus on addressing water shortages, road construction, and prompt payment of civil servants’ salaries.
The chairman also commended the leadership of Hon. J.K. Chris, Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, for his achievements, including the construction of markets, culverts, and renovation of primary schools and healthcare facilities.
Azi urged citizens to support the government of Barrister Caleb Mutfwang at the state level and Hon. J.K. Chris at the local government level to receive more dividends of democracy.
