Hon. Ishaya Itse Won Philanthropist Award under Plateau Man of the Year for Second Time.
Cripan Hotel Jos,attracted Dignitaries from all walks of life to catch the glimpse of their eyes as Hon. Ishaya Itse,a Philanthropist, Business tycoon, a Community Leader. Itse who won the Award in 2020,was renominated again for the 2024 as the Philanthropist of the year,his Humanitarian and Philanthropist gestures in Jos and it’s environs attracted more nomination from Plateau people for the Prestigious award for the second time .
The event which is an annual event is organized to award distinguished personalities who have impacted positively in the society.

The Chairman of Plateau state Youth Council,Mangu LGA,Stanley Dapip Titus awarded as the outstanding Youth leader, outstanding public Servant award went to Mr. Ali Wuyep,Hon. Yakubu Izang Ezekiel crown as the Peace Icon of the year.
Advocate for Women Development went to Mrs. Jumai Madaki.
Speaking earlier,Convener of the Plateau Man of the Year, Ambassador Cletus Akhimien said the event is the moment of reflection on the Journey of progress since the inception of the ward nine years ago ,he further said the essence of the event is not about to celebrate individuals achievements but to celebrate the power of unity .
He also reiterate that,over the years,they have been maintaining the tradition of Integrity.
The Keynote Speaker,Zacharia Piwuna delivered his paper titled, Challenges of Peace,Unity and Progress in heterogenous State.
According to him,for peace to reign,we must tolerate one another and we must not be from the same Culture and Traditions.
He also identified some factors that are impeding peace in our Nation as social Cohesion and natural Identity and Nigeria is today battling with security Challenges and unity because is a Colonial designation and they had motives and Interests.
Another problem is Governance and responsibility. He decried the attitudes of leaders who want leadership but don’t want responsibilities.
Responding to Newsmen, shortly after receiving the award,Hon. Ishaya Itse dedicated the Award to God Almighty for making it possible,his Family and Plateau people for the trust in him and pledge to do more and impact more in the society,the award will spur me. To whom much is given,much is expected and you know I’m receiving the award for the second time and I have no reason to relent.
I want to urge well meaningful citizens to also give it back to the society especially now that our country is facing too much challenges.
