Hon. Leke Abejide condemn killings and kidnapping epidemic in Yagba, urge security agencies to rescue victims.

Hon. Leke Abejide,  member representing Yagba East, Yagba West, Mopamuro Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has urged security agencies to swing into action to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for the killings and kidnappings in Yagba especially the abduction of the Oba of Okoloke,HRH J.D Ogunyanda.

He condemned the high rate of killings and kidnappings happening in Yagba Federal Constituency, demanding swift action from security forces to secure the release of victims and bring to justice all kidnappers that have made the forest their hideouts.

The lawmaker expressed concern over the growing insecurity in  Yagba, an area renowned for its peaceful nature but has tragically devolved into a hotbed of kidnapping and criminal activities.

He expressed concern about the seeming inability of security agencies to address incessant attacks and kidnappings that has posed high treat to the lives many people in Yagba, creating fear and distress in our community.

He underscored the importance of protecting the lives and properties of the people of Yagba and pledged that he is committed to partnering with the local government chairmen to combat insecurity ravaging various communities in Yagba.

Hon. Leke called on security agencies in Yagba to be swift to action and collaborate in apprehending the perpetrators responsible for the horrendous acts on our people. He further called on Kogi State government to come to the rescue of the people of Yagba.

I, therefore call on all security agencies and Kogi State government under His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ododo to help us tighten our security and rescue abducted victims”, he said.
