Hon. Leke Abejide Preaches Love, Task Christians To Reflect The Virtues of Christ During Easter.
The member representing Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide as congratulated Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration, task Christians to reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the commemoration of Easter is love and sacrifice.
In his Easter message to the people of Yagba and Christians across the globe, Hon. Leke Abejide said Easter represent the deep love of Christ for all, through his death and resurrection.
According to him, the death of Christ represents love and sacrifice, His resurrection brought hope and triumphant victory of light over darkness.

Hon. Leke Abejide urged Christians to imbibe the exemplary life of Christ through love, selflessness, sacrifice, and forgiveness, which Christ demonstrated in His death, and resurrection for the redemption of mankind.
“As Christians, Easter presents us the opportunity reflect, a time to carry out an ecclesiastical soul-searching to embody that which Christ came and died for.
“Easter is both significant and sobering in the sense that it reminds us of all of the triumphs of good over evil, light over darkness, and love and compassion over hate. These were the cardinal planks of Christ’s teachings while on earth, let us as followers of Christ make the virtues our guide.
“Easter is an important time for Christians, a season of sobering reflection that reminds us the essence of the death of Christ that brought the triumphant victory, light, love and compassion. These were the cardinal planks of Christ’s teachings while on earth.
“His death and resurrection brought a refreshing dawn for humanity and redefined the virtues of selflessness, love, sacrifice and forgiveness,” he said.
Hon. Leke Abejide urged Nigerians and Kogites to be steadfast in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s and Alhaji Usman Ododo administration as the leaders are working hard to pull the country from the myriad of challenges it faces, that will soon be history as God will use President Tinubu to give Nigerians hope.
“Just as Christ showed unconditional love and made sacrifices for humanity, let us be patriotic citizens of Kogi put our country and state first at all times knowing that the government of President Bola Tinubu is working hard to pull Nigeria from the economic doldrums in line with his Renewed Hope Agenda”,he stressed.
