Hon. Olarewaju Abodunde Buries Grandmother, Late Snr. Lady Leader Rebecca Abejide Samson Ogbonniaye, in a Celebration of Life

Hon. Olarewaju Abodunde, the Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Government on Teaching Regulations, has laid his beloved grandmother, Late Snr. Lady Leader Rebecca Abejide Samson Ogbonniaye, to rest.

The burial ceremony, held on Saturday, 1 August 2026, at C & S Miracle Jah Zion, Agrigbon Quarters, Ayetoro-Gbedde, Kogi State, was a fitting celebration of a life devoted to God, family, and humanity.

Although Mama passed on at the age of 87, her departure has left a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering faith, kindness, humility, motherly love, and selfless service to her family, church, and community.
