Hon. Richard Pessu, Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Warri South, Welcomes Nigeria’s First Lady to the Palace of the Olu of Warri

In spirit and letter of our rich traditional cultural heritage, honour and national pride, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Richard Pessu, wish to warmly welcome the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, to the revered Palace of the Olu of Warri in Delta State.
Describing the visit as historic and deeply symbolic, Hon. Pessu said the presence of the First Lady at the palace of His Majesty, Atuwatse I11 the Olu of Warri, underscores the enduring bond between the Federal Government and the traditional institutions that remain the custodians of culture and unity in the Niger Delta.
He noted that Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s visit reflects her unwavering commitment to grassroots development, women empowerment, and national cohesion, values that resonate strongly with the people of Warri South and Delta State at large.
“On behalf of the leadership and faithful members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Warri South, I heartily welcome our distinguished First Lady to this ancient and prestigious Warri kingdom. Her presence today is not only an honour to the Itsekiri nation but also a source of pride to Delta State and Nigeria as a whole,” Hon. Pessu stated.
He reaffirmed the party’s steadfast support for the Renewed Hope For MORE Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration, emphasizing that the APC in Warri South remains united, progressive, and fully aligned with national development objectives.
