Hon. Salman Idris Quiz Competition for Secondary Schools in Ijumu/ Kabba-Bunu Federal Constituency Commences Today

…. 20 Secondary Schools to participate in the preliminary stages

In line with his determination and commitment to reposition the secondary education sub sector through intellectual competition in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, the conveners of the Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions has concluded arrangement to host a quiz competition in honour of the Federal House of Representatives member for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal constituency, Hon. Salman Idris.

The quiz competition is for the secondary schools in the constituency and is aimed at promoting education excellence among the participating schools.

According to a press statement signed by Hon. Oladipo Bayode and made available to newsmen in Lokoja yesterday, Arch. Salman Idris was the “Kogi Man of the Year” of the Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions in 2017, hence the organization decided to honor him with the competition.

He appealed to the heads of public Secondary Schools in the federal constituency to support the initiative for their schools to participate in the competition.

The competition which is in collaboration with the Built Environment, Building Materials BEBM Exhibitions will expose the students to new ideas and knowledge that will make them competitive in a dynamic and ever changing world.

The statement further confirmed that, 20 secondary schools and colleges will be participating have been selected for the preliminary stage of the competition that will start today in Kabba.

The statement also called on the Management of these schools to give the maximum support for their students and equally solicit the support of the general public for the successful hosting of the maiden BEBM Exhibitions/ Arch. Salman Idris’ quiz competition
