Your Excellency, Sen. Kashim Shettima GCON, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,

This milestone offers us another opportunity to celebrate your remarkable life of service, sacrifice, and commitment to the progress of our great nation.
Your Excellency, you have remained a dependable partner to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in the actualisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda, providing the strength and loyalty that define true statesmanship.
Your depth of knowledge in the financial sector has been instrumental in guiding our economy through the “Renewed Hope” reforms designed to bring lasting prosperity to Nigerians, especially your role as a bridge-builder and stabilising force in governance, which has also been a source of reassurance at this defining moment in our national history.
I remain deeply grateful for the strong support you have extended towards the revival of Nigeria’s steel sector, which is central to our industrialisation drive of this administration, and the creation of jobs for our teeming youths.
Your gracious presence at the Inaugural National Steel Summit 2025, representing Mr President, not only underscored your belief in the sector’s transformative potential but also inspired stakeholders to commit more strongly to the vision of a self-reliant and industrially competitive Nigeria.
Beyond politics, you have demonstrated uncommon empathy and dedication to the welfare of citizens, which strengthens the trust and confidence Nigerians repose in you and the administration you serve.
