How God Miraculously Changed the Firing Squad Verdict of Col. Bello Fadile, 30 Yrs Ago

Colonel Bello Fadile, a former military officer, has shared a powerful testimony of divine deliverance, 30 years after he was sentenced to death by firing squad by a Special Military Tribunal in 1995.

On July 14, 1995, Col. Fadile and his fellow accused were taken to the tribunal, where they were found guilty and sentenced to death. However, in a dramatic turn of events, the death sentence was commuted to life imprisonment three months later, and Col. Fadile was eventually freed to 30 years ago.

In his testimony, Col. Fadile recounts the emotional and psychological trauma he endured, from being shackled and silenced to being forced to speak ill of the Commander-in-Chief and his men. Despite the injustices he faced, Col. Fadile and his fellow accused found strength in their faith, singing a song of defiance and hope: “He’s able, abundantly able to deliver and to save.”

Col. Fadile attributes his deliverance to the mercy of God, saying that divine counsel rewrote the decree of men. He reflects on how his experience was a testament to God’s power to deliver and save those who trust in Him.

Today, 30 years after the ordeal, Col. Fadile stands as a living proof of divine preservation, with his rank as Colonel reinstated and his dignity redeemed. He concludes his testimony with a powerful declaration of faith, saying, “Jesus reigneth, let the earth tremble… It is well with my soul.”
