I am still a member of the APC “body and spirit’’ – Wambai

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kogi local government area, Hon. Abdulkarim Usman Isah Wambai, said contrary to insinuations, he is still a full member of APC, and remained there “body and spirit’’.
Wambai said at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday that the speculations were part of the mischievous activities against him and urged the public to discountenance them.
He said that those spreading such information were doing so as propaganda to win the hearts of some APC leaders in the state.
Wambai, however, blamed the development on inactivity in the Kogi local government APC, saying that the party’s leadership had failed to carry some members of the party along in the scheme of things.
The APC Chieftain said: “I Hon. Abdulkarim Usman Isah (WAMBAI) would like to address recent rumors and misinformation regarding my political affiliation with Social Democratic Party. I want to make it clear that I am still a dedicated member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and have not decamped to the SDP as being rumored.
“Any claim suggesting otherwise are untrue. I remain committed to the ideals and goals of the APC and will continue to work within the party to achieve our collective objectives. Thank you for your understanding.”
He, therefore, charged the Kogi local government APC Executive Committee to wake up to its responsibility as it had neglected some members.
