The leadership and members of IGBIMO ATULUSE express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi (IDRUFEM), the flagbearer of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the 2027 House of Representatives seat for Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, following his official visit to our headquarters of the group on Thursday, 1st of October, 2026.

During the visit, Dr. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi demonstrated a commendable understanding of the core challenges facing our community, particularly the ongoing insecurity in some of our communities and the growing unemployment of our youth, infrastructure, healthcare, and economic development of our federal constituency

On a brief introduction, The IGBIMO ATULUSE INITIATIVES is an emerging non-political, and non-profit organization in Kogi State.
We are a prominent, emerging socio-political and community development group active in Okun Land, specifically centered around Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in Kogi State.
The organization is led by its President, Hon. Barrister Segun Modeyin (who also serves as the Director of Legal Services at Kogi State University, Kabba), alongside Public Relations Officer Hon. Austine Alaba Medaiyedu, the Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Grassroot Sensitization.
We are known for Political Engagement & Advocacy. The group acts as a strong political voice in Kogi West.
We host town hall meetings, invite political candidates (from various parties like the APC, ADC, SDP, and PDP) to present their manifestos, and promising to organize the first public debates among candidates to promote democratic accountability
We frequently serve as a grassroots watchdog, releasing strong advocacy statements demanding government and security intervention during waves of banditry and kidnappings affecting areas like Kabba, Iluke-Bunu, Aiyegunle Igun and across Kogi State.
On the level of Cultural & Community Relations, we maintain close ties with traditional institutions, regularly celebrating community milestones such as the coronation anniversaries of global leaders like the Obaro of Kabba
