Ijumu LGA Stakeholders Set for Strategic Meeting August 21 to Chart Path for Collective Development

Key stakeholders in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State are set to converge in Iyara for a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening consultation, unity, and development across the LGA.
The meeting, convened by Hon. Dr. Funsho Ekundayo Olumoko, FNIMN Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Ijumu LGA, will hold on Friday, 21st August 2026 at Iyara Town Hall by 12:00 Noon.
According to the invitation, the engagement is designed to bring together selected and critical stakeholders for dialogue on matters of common interest and the collective development of the Local Government.
Expected participants include20 selected leaders across the wards, all 27 Local Government Executives, all 15 Ward Chairmen, all 15 Ward Women Leaders, all 15 Ward Youth Leaders, all 15 Ward Secretaries, as well as all Local Government Appointees and State Appointees from Ijumu.
Dr. Olumoko described the meeting as a timely platform to harmonize ideas, align political structures, and foster synergy between government appointees and grassroots leaders.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda can only succeed when leaders at all levels speak with one voice and work together for the good of our people. This meeting will provide an avenue for consultation, feedback, and planning for impactful projects in Ijumu,” he stated.
He urged all invited stakeholders to treat the meeting as a matter of priority, noting that a productive and purposeful engagement is expected to produce actionable resolutions for the progress of the LGA.
The gathering is expected to address issues around party cohesion, government policies, security, youth and women inclusion, and community development projects in Ijumu.
Stakeholders have been asked to be seated by 12:00 Noon at Iyara Town Hall.
