Kano, Nigeria–
As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, Professor Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (Khadimul Islam and Qur’an) has extended her warmest congratulations to the good people of Kano State and Nigerians at large.

In her heartfelt message, Professor Hafsat Ganduje—affectionately known as Gwaggo Kanawa (Uwar Marayu)—described Nigeria as a divinely blessed nation, rich in history, heritage, and unity amidst diversity. Reflecting on the country’s journey, Professor Ganduje praised the notable strides made under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing significant progress in national development and governance. She expressed optimism that the coming years would bring greater growth, inclusivity, and prosperity for all Nigerians.

“Despite our challenges, we remain one strong, united, and indivisible country. Our strength lies in our unity and diversity,” she affirmed.

She prayed for continued peace, stability, and security across the nation and urged leaders at all levels to remain committed to the service of the people.

Professor Hafsat Ganduje also used the occasion to specially recognize and celebrate the women across the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State, commending their resilience, courage, and contributions to both community and nation-building.

To the leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at ward, local government, state, and national levels, she extended warm felicitations and called for greater unity and collaboration in moving the party and the country forward.

“May Almighty Allah continue to guide and protect us. God bless you, your families, our dear Kano State, and Nigeria in general.”
– Professor Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje

As the Green-White-Green flag flies high on this symbolic day, Professor Ganduje’s message resonates with hope, patriotism, and the enduring Nigerian spirit.

Happy 65th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria!
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
