Izere Football Tournament:Kick Off In Jos
The Long awaited Izere Football Tournament,kick off on Sunday 16-2-2025 at Exactly 4:30Pm,at the Kunyi Katseh football pitch of Gwafan District,Jos Izere Chiefdom of Jos North Local Government Area.
The Competition is in Honour of Rt. Hon. Isah Madaki Ajiji, Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly,Hon. Danjuma Azi, Liason officer to the Governor of Plateau state,Hon. Adamu Aliyu,Member representing Jos North -North,Hon. Alfred Ajang Iliya, Member House of Representatives,Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency.
The Deputy Speaker kicked the Ball to commence the Competition.

He was represented by one of his Aids,Deacon Samuel Arin.
The Deputy Speaker commended the Organizers of the Competition,led by Nathaniel Azi,the Director of Socials of Afizere Youth Movement Jos North Branch.
The D.O.S,in his opening remarks said it is their earnest desire that they will fish out talents
Also delivering his Goodwill message,the Chairman of AYM Jos North,Atsen Yakubu Arin ,commended the D.O.S for the giant strides effort to organize the tournament and it will foster unity among Izere and beyond.
Other leaders that witnessed the historical and epoch event includes the AYM Vice president Azi Aware Peter, Traditional rulers among others.
The two teams that slogged it was Haske FC and Mehalla Junior F.C the game ended one Zero,in Favour of Haske F.C.
Agwom Jeff scored the spectacular goal for the Haske F.C.
Before the end of the game,one of the Mehalla’s Player was sent off after the centre referee issued him a red card.
The Competition will continue tomorrow between the RKN versus Lamingo FC.
