Just In: Governor Bello Appoints Barrister Alfred Bello as member of the Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission
The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has appointed the Director General of Okun United for Ododo/Joel Project, Barrister Alfred Bello as member of the Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission to replace Hon Duro Meseko who recently resigned due to his emergence as the Deputy National Publicity Secretary and member of the National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
The Governor announced the appointment when the leadership of Kabba/Bunu APC visited him to pledged their loyalty, unalloyed support and also assured him of their commitment with other leaders and party faithful to vote en-mass for the party.
Appreciating the unexpected appointment, the former lawmaker said the governor has further show to be a true leader who believes in fairness, equity and justice.
He promised to justify the confidence reposed in him and also work with other members of the service commission to provide the leadership required to reposition the legislative arm of government in the state that will enable them to function uptimally.
According to him, he will continue to work with leaders of the party in the local government and Okunland generally to deliver overwhelming victory for Ododo/Joel come November 11 Governorship election.
Untill his appointment Barrister Alfred Bello is the Director General of Okun United for Ododo/Joel support group and a former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly between 2003 and 2007.
He is happily married with children.
