Kabba APC Critical Stakeholders’ Visit to Hon. James Faleke and Senator Sunday Karimi Reflects Confidence in Their Leadership and the Unity of Kabba (Owe Land)– Hon. Tunde Akanmidu

The Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy President of the Senate, Hon. Tunde Akanmidu, has described the recent visit by critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Kabba to the Distinguished Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and the Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi as a significant demonstration of confidence in their leadership and a renewed commitment to the unity, progress, and political advancement of Kabba (Owe Land).

According to Hon. Akanmidu, the visit, which was ably led by respected elder statesman, Elder Benjamin Elewodola, and dutifully coordinated by Barrister Jaiye Ajayi, represents more than a courtesy call. It symbolizes the collective resolve of party leaders and stakeholders to strengthen internal cohesion, deepen consultation, and sustain the progressive ideals that have continued to shape the political fortunes of Kabba and Kogi West.

He noted that Hon. James Faleke has consistently distinguished himself through purposeful representation, exceptional leadership, and unwavering commitment to the development of his people, while Senator Sunday Steve Karimi has continued to demonstrate dedication to quality representation, legislative excellence, and the pursuit of meaningful development across Kogi West Senatorial District.

Hon. Akanmidu observed that the gathering of respected party elders, leaders, and stakeholders around these distinguished leaders reflects the enduring values of dialogue, reconciliation, and collective responsibility that have always defined progressive politics. He emphasized that the strength of any political family lies in its ability to remain united despite differing opinions and to place the overall interest of the people above personal considerations.

He therefore appealed to all members of the APC, particularly those who may still feel aggrieved by recent political developments, to embrace peace, close ranks, and work together in the interest of the party and the continued development of Kabba (Owe Land), Kogi West, and Kogi State.

“There is always greater strength in unity than in division. The time has come for every progressive to set aside differences, renew our commitment to our shared ideals, and work collectively for the progress of our people. History has shown that when we speak with one voice, we achieve greater results,” he stated.

Hon. Akanmidu further urged party faithful to continue supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as it strives to deliver sustainable economic reforms, strengthen national security, expand infrastructure, and create greater opportunities for Nigerians. He also called for sustained support for Senator Sunday Steve Karimi in his efforts to attract more democratic dividends and accelerate development across Kogi West Senatorial District.

He expressed confidence that with unity, mutual respect, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the APC, Kabba, Owe Land and Kogi West will continue to witness greater political relevance, accelerated development, and increased opportunities for future generations.

Signed:

Hon. Tunde Akanmidu,
Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy President of the Senate
