Kabba (Owe) Okemeta Council of Chiefs Cancels Weekly Meeting to Honor Late Olori Marie Owoniyi
The Kabba (Owe) Okemeta Council of Chiefs has canceled its weekly meeting, traditionally held every Tuesday, to pay tribute to the late Olori Marie Owoniyi, wife of the Obaro of Kabba.
Olori Marie Owoniyi passed away last week after a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, service, and community upliftment.
Chief Adegboyega Aka, Chairman of the council, described her as an invaluable pillar of the Kabba (Owe) community. During her tenure as Human Resources Manager at Nestlé Nigeria Plc, she played a pivotal role in facilitating employment opportunities for numerous indigenes, positively impacting countless lives. Her generosity, wisdom, and dedication to the progress of the community earned her widespread respect and admiration.
In a mark of deep respect for her contributions, the council has decided to forgo its scheduled meeting tomorrow.
The Chairman also offered prayers for her peaceful repose and extended heartfelt condolences to her family and the entire Kabba (Owe) community, urging them to find solace in the enduring legacy she leaves behind.
