Kabba (Owe) Okemeta Council of Chiefs Congratulates Governor Ododo Usman over his Victory at the Supreme Court

Kabba (Owe) Okemeta Council of Chiefs in Kabba district of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area has congratulated the Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo over his Victory at the Supreme court which affirmed him as the duly elected Governor of the state.

In a message signed by the Obajemu of Oweland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Ibinaiye and Chairman of Okemeta Council of Chiefs, Chief Adegboyega Aka respectively, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, described the landmark judgment as commendable, upholding the truth and the wishes of the people of Kogi State.

According to the message, they are pleased and proud to associate themselves with the ruling which will go a long way to stabilize the administration of the state under the leadership of Governor Ododo, urging all opposition parties to join hands with him to move the state forward.

The message further read that the judiciary has once again demonstrated it’s impartiality in the well delivered judgment, saying that the people are happy with the transparent manner the case was handled.

Okemeta chiefs noted with satisfaction the untiring effort of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, towards uniting the people of the state for the good of all, stressing that the judgment is a confirmation of what transpired on November 11, 2023 when majority of Kogites voted for him massively.

They urged the governor to continue his good policies and programs which has reflected in the prompt payment of worker’s salaries, improved security, rural infrastructure development, education and health, assured him of their continuous support and cooperation with his administration, pointed out that as a responsible Chiefs of the community, they appeal to the Governor in assisting them to announce Chief Julius Arokoyo as the Ololu of Obadofin of Oweland being the popular choice of both the Odolu ruling group, Okemeta Chiefs and the entire community
