Kano Assembly Speaker Leads Lawmakers to Witness Swearing-in of Hon. Rabiu Shu’aibu Gano into House of Representatives.

Abuja, Nigeria – The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly led a high-powered delegation of state lawmakers to the National Assembly in Abuja to witness the swearing-in of Hon. Rabiu Shu’aibu Gano as the new member representing the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The colourful ceremony took place in the Green Chamber of the House of Representatives after all constitutional and legal requirements validating his election had been duly completed. The oath of office officially marked the commencement of Hon. Gano’s legislative responsibilities at the federal level.

The presence of the Kano State House of Assembly delegation underscored the strong spirit of unity, cooperation, and institutional support between the state legislature and Kano’s representatives at the National Assembly. Their attendance also symbolized solidarity with the people of Dawakin Kudu and Warawa, who have now regained full representation in Nigeria’s lower legislative chamber.
Speaking after the swearing-in ceremony, political stakeholders described the occasion as a significant milestone for the constituency, expressing optimism that Hon. As a fully inaugurated member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rabiu Shu’aibu Gano is expected to immediately begin carrying out his constitutional duties.
