KANO MOURNS UBAN DOMAN KANO, ALHAJI IBRAHIM SANI GAYA.

Kano State has been thrown into mourning following the death of Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Gaya, popularly known as the Uban Doman Kano, and elder brother of former Kano State Governor, and also former Senator, Alhaji Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya.
The deceased’s passing is a loss to his family, relatives, friends, and associates, who will be remembering him in their prayers during this difficult period.

According to the family announcement, the funeral prayer (Janazah) for the late Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Gaya will take place in Gaya town, Kano State, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, after the Maghrib prayer.
Family members, friends, well-wishers, and members of the community are expected to join in offering prayers for the repose of his soul and to extend their condolences to the bereaved family.
His death is particularly significant to the Gaya family, given his relationship with former Governor Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya, a prominent political figure in Kano State.
As the family prepares to lay him to rest, prayers have been offered for Allah Almighty to forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal peace, and admit him into Jannatul Firdaus.
May Allah grant the bereaved family the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
