KANO – In a resolute show of unity and purpose, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State have reiterated their firm support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, pledging to stand behind his vision to bring lasting prosperity to Nigeria.
The declaration came during a highly strategic meeting held today in Kano, attended by key party stalwarts, elders, political leaders, and officeholders from across the state. The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, who chaired the meeting, called on members of the party to remain steadfast in their support for the President, describing him as a leader deeply committed to uplifting the nation and addressing the challenges facing Nigerians.
“President Tinubu has shown exceptional commitment to the progress of our dear country. His vision is clear—he wants to build a prosperous, secure, and inclusive Nigeria for all,” Senator Barau said. “We, as members of the APC family in Kano, must continue to rally behind him. Our support is not just political; it is rooted in the realities of the development we are witnessing.”
The gathering reflected on the current trajectory of the APC in Kano State, observing that the party is growing stronger by the day due to President Tinubu’s inclusive leadership and strategic interventions. Stakeholders praised the administration for its consistent support to the people of Kano and the northern region at large, citing numerous infrastructural projects, social investment programmes, and political appointments that have favoured the region.
“It is evident that Kano State is reaping the benefits of President Tinubu’s leadership,” said a member of the State Working Committee. “From road infrastructure to healthcare and educational interventions, to youth empowerment and federal appointments—our state has not been left behind.”
One of the highlights of the meeting was the recognition of President Tinubu’s deliberate inclusion of northern voices in the federal administration. Attendees noted that many capable sons and daughters of Kano and the North have been appointed to strategic positions, ensuring that the region continues to contribute meaningfully to national development.
Former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, also lent his voice at the meeting, declaring: “We are firmly behind President Tinubu because he has shown love and unwavering commitment to the North. Whatever we have requested for the development of our people, he has not only listened—he has acted. This is the kind of leadership that deserves total support.”
The stakeholders resolved to intensify grassroots engagement, ensuring that ordinary citizens across wards and local governments are kept informed of the administration’s achievements and plans. They emphasised that political communication must be sustained so that the people understand and appreciate the efforts of the APC government under President Tinubu.
“We urge all our party faithful, leaders, and stakeholders to return to their constituencies with a renewed commitment to mobilise support for the President and the APC,” Senator Barau concluded. “Let us continue to pray for our nation and our leader, so that he may accomplish his noble aim of bringing prosperity, security, and unity to Nigeria.”
As Nigeria navigates complex challenges and opportunities, the resounding message from Kano’s APC stakeholders is clear: they stand united behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu—a leader they trust, a vision they believe in, and a future they are committed to building.
