Kog State Govt Appoints FMT’s Yabagi As CPS to Speaker

By Fancy Media Team

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has approved the appointment of Mohammed Ahmed Yabagi as the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf.u

This was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Folashade Ayoade Arike.

Until his appointment, Yabagi has been one of the leading writers of a pro-APC media team, Fancy Media Team (FMT)

The appointment which took effect from on 9th August, 2023 was according to Dr Folashade, in recognition of Yabagi’s dedication and loyalty to the state government over the years.

The letter reads in part, “your appointment is based on your dedication and loyalty to this government. You’re therefore expected to be committed in the discharge of your duties to the expectations of Rt Hon. Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly”

While reacting to the appointment, the joyous Yabagi appreciated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf and other APC critical stakeholders for finding him worthy of the position of the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker.

He promised to deepen his loyalty and support for the course of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State especially in the forthcoming governorship election, adding that the confidence reposed in him by the Governor and his cabinet would not be betrayed.
