Kogi 2023: Ododo Receives OSO, Urges For an Issues Based Campaign, Says “I Have Learnt The Best From GYB Who Is The Best”

The Kogi State Governorship candidate of APC, Alhaji Usman Ododo has assured that his electoral campaign for the November 11 gubernatorial poll would be an issues based and peaceful – saying that his mandate is for the Unity and greatness of Kogi State.

The governorship candidate made this known while playing host to the Conveners, Executives and Directors of his foremost Support Group, The Ododo Support Organization, OSO, at his official residence in Lokoja earlier today.

Alhaji Ododo noted with delight that the OSO model is a wonderful one and it is so rich and robust that he is already seeing the hope of victory in the election.

Hon. Ododo who urged members of the support Organization, OSO to be committed to the duty of issues based and peaceful campaign, emphasized that he has learnt the best from GYB who he described as “the Best” while stressing further that the mandate he is holding unto is for “Consolidation, Continuity and improvement on the wonderful legacies of Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration”.

Alhaji Usman Ododo, who hipped on the successes of the current administration in the state, said he would give priority to security of lives and properties in the state and continue on the health care programmes of his boss along with that of education, Youths and Women development and inclusiveness in government.

Earlier in his remarks, the Director General of Ododo Support Organization Engr. Suleiman Aminu Adaira, PhD, stated that going by the analysis of the OSO model, the Organization is set to deliver nothing less than 240,000 votes as her contributions to the victory of their principal.

The Director General reiterated that the achievements so far recorded has been on the Organisation’s self-efforts, saying that the Organization prides itself to have the entire Kogi State under its reach by membership penetration of about 48,099 Executives Strength and with each member tasked to register and walk down to his/her Polling Unit with 5 people, the model assured to garner 240,495 in their database and translate same number to votes come November 11, 2023.

Also in his remarks, the Co-Convener of the Organization, Alhaji Nazir Yusuf Ochi, CNA, said the Ododo Support Organization, OSO model and programs has given him hope of a resounding victory for the party, APC in the forthcoming Gubernatorial election. The Organisation has equally demonstrated the capacity to deliver and strengthen the Unity of the State going by the composition of its members across the state.

Alhaji Ochi noted that the Organization is a pet project of the candidate himself and it has the best Model to drive the election campaign for successful result. Hon. Ochi added that they have been doing their best to make the candidate proud with the new and innovative model.

In addition, the organisation as part of its purpose for the visit, presented the various donations received from various donors (Principally by her Co-Convener, Alhaji Nazir Yusuf Ochi, CNA) and other members formally to the APC Candidate. The donations which include: a Sienna Vehicle and thousands of other campaign materials (Baseball caps, Posters, Lapels and Exercise Book) were formally handed over to the Director General, OSO for the judicious use of the Organisation by the Candidate after expressing his utmost appreciation to the various donors.
