Kogi APC stalwart Ochada hails Gov. Ododo’s Legal Triumph At tribunal

By Odimayo Olatunde Fredrick

An All Progressive Congress, (APC) stalwart, in Kogi State Hon. Matthew Ochada (HMO), has congratulated the State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo on his resounding victory at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

The tribunal upheld Ododo’s election on Monday, dismissing the petitions filed by his closest rivals, Muritala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party, ( SDP).

Speaking with journalists after Monday’s judgement, Hon. Ochada praised Governor Ododo’s tenacious legal team and described the ruling as a “victory for democracy and the will of the people.”

“This is a heart-warming validation of the popular mandate freely given to Governor Ododo by the good people of Kogi State in the November 11th polls. This ruling reinforces the faith of our citizens in the democratic system and paves the way for continued progress and development in our dear state,” he said.

Hon. Ochada further called upon all stakeholders to accept the Tribunal’s verdict in good faith and join hands with Governor Ododo’s administration, emphasizing the importance of setting aside political differences and working together for the greater good of the state and its people. He commended the judiciary for upholding justice and equity.

He expressed confidence that under Governor Ododo’s focused and inclusive leadership, Kogi State is set for unprecedented transformation across all sectors.

He affirmed his support for the governor’s agenda.
