Kogi Assembly Loses Staff, Suleiman Oyibo to Auto Crash Yesterday, as Clerk of the House, Alhaji Chogudo Expresses Grief

Death has occurred of Mallam Suleiman Oyibo, a Staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Information Department of Kogi State House of Assembly, Idowu Aliyu and made available to pressmen in Lokoja. According to the statement, Mallam Suleiman Oyibo died in a motor accident along Lokoja-Okene road on Saturday.

Until his death, Mallam Suleiman Oyibo was the Head of the Store Department of the Kogi State House of Assembly.

Speaking on the tragic incident, the Clerk of the House and Head of Legislative Service, Kogi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Chogudo Sule Ahmed described Oyibo’s death as painful and devastating.

Alhaji Chogudo who recalled his working relationship with the staff, said he would be greatly missed given his commitment, diligence and humane dispositions to all and sundry, especially the staff of Kogi State House of Assembly.

He prayed Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Staff of the Assembly have been commenting on the sudden and shocking death of Mallam Suleiman Oyibo whom many described as friendly, jovial and humane.

They expressed gratitude to Allah for the exemplary life he lived which endeared him to people and prayed for his peaceful repose.

Mallam Suleiman Oyibo has been buried according to Muslim rites in his home town at Okene.
