Akin Fanodun – Kabba
As Kogi State clocks 34 years of creation, Hon. Fidelis O. Bello, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Mobilization, has extended warm felicitations to the government and people of the state on this historic occasion.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Bello praised the immediate past Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for laying a strong foundation of infrastructural renewal, human capital development, and improved security across the state. He equally applauded the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for sustaining the tempo of good governance through continuity, inclusiveness, and people-oriented policies.
He described Kogi as a state richly blessed with resources, strategically located as the Confluence of Nigeria, and endowed with resilient people who have continued to contribute immensely to national unity and development.
Hon. Bello further prayed for Kogi and her citizens, asking Almighty God to grant the leaders wisdom, the land peace, and the people prosperity.
> “At 34, Kogi has every reason to celebrate her journey so far while looking ahead with renewed hope. I call on all citizens to remain united, law-abiding, and committed to the growth of our beloved state. Together, we can build a greater Kogi,” he stated.
