Kogi Council Polls: Oba Ibeun Lauds Mopamuro People in Government as MATC Bless APC Candidates

The Elulu of Mopa and Chairman, Mopamuro Traditional Council (MATC), His Royal Majesty (HRM), Oba Muyiwa Ibeun has passed encomiums and lauded sons and daughters of Mopamuro who are successful politicians, civil servants and business persons who have always influenced development to the Local Government.

He expressed this when the Mopamuro All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the fast approaching local government election visited the Mopamuro Traditional Council to receive their blessings as they launch campaign for the Hon. Ademola Bello aka Destiny and Hon. Joy Dalumo Chairmanship ticket and other councilorship candidates for the 10 wards in Mopamuro.

Oba Ibeun said this is one of the best times in Mopamuro again, where almost all successful political sons and daughters of the Local Government has come together under the APC.

He noted that even when most of them were in different political parties of their choice, they had brought one or two development to Mopamuro.

According to him, worthy of note is also senior civil servants and military/paramilitary personnel (retired or not), successful business persons who have always influenced job opportunities, Federal Government facilities intervention, and even Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) interventions to Mopamuro communities and her persons.

He appreciates them all.

Oba Ibeun also appreciates the APC administration from the past Alhaji Yahaya Bello led administration to the incumbent Governor Usman Ododo administration for not always forgetting Mopamuro and her sons by enabling them to extend the hands of government programms and projects to the community.

While blessing the APC candidates and showing support for them as the sole candidates for the Local Governments election, Oba Ibeun urges the candidates to prioritize the development and security of Mopamuro Local Government

The Alamuro of Amuro, HRM. (Engr.) Alfred Modupe Aiyedogbon, while addressing the APC Campaign Team, congratulates the entire people of Mopamuro for a unified partisan political system, responding to this, the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo said it would be easier for the Royal Fathers to lead them to the government and make demands under a unified political system under the APC and bring dividends of democracy home.

Hon. Fanwo, while marketing the candidates, said Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny is a silent achiever and a unifier, he assured with a slogan (Destiny/Joy 2024), that Destiny will bring Joy.

The Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Ademola Bello, aka Destiny, appreciates God and the entire Mopamuro people for giving him another opportunity to be elected for, assured that he will ensure the security and all encompassing development of the Local Government, adding that the people of Mopamuro are not asking for much.

Stakeholders and Members of the campaign council and other members of the APC and their candidates across the local government were in attendance.

The traditional council appreciates the APC for coming, urging them to put their interest to heart when they reach the local government offices.
