KOGI COUNCIL POLLS: OVERWHELMING SUPPORT FOR APC PAY BACK TIME FOR GOVERNOR ODODO’s GOOD LEADERSHIP – Sen. Echocho

The Senator representing Kogi -east Senatorial District and the Chairman, Senate Committee on Customs, Excise Duties and Tarrif, Senator Isah Jibril Echocho has said that the Massive turnout of People and the Overwhelming support the rulling all progressive Congress garnered at the Saturday September 19th, 2024 , Local Government Council elections in the State was an act of reciprocity demonstrated by the electorate Particularly those at the grass roots for the Good, purposeful leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

According to the two term Senator, the good people of Kogi State has witnessed tremendous transformation in all Sectors of the State Since inception of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led Government in the state, prompt payment of salary, provision and distribution of Various food items (palliatives) and infrastructural developments has all become the Hallmark of his leadership, a feat which has endeared him to the people, Echocho said.

Senator Isah Jibril disclosed this to the Press Shortly after Casting his vote at Ajiyolo Ojaji in Dekina local Government area of Kogi State, he Commended the people for the Massive turnout and their overwhelming Support for the Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) Honourable, John Urah whom he said would undoubtedly deliver the dividend of Democracy to the Good people of Dekina local Government area.

While describing the exercise as peaceful, Free and fair, he Commended the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KGSIEC) for ensuring timely arrival of elections materials at polling Stations across the Kogi -east Senatorial District.
