Kogi Council Polls: Popular influencer Shaibu Bello declares intention to contest for Councilor in Lokoja LGA
Ahead of the forthcoming Kogi State Local Government election, a renowned influencer per excellence Comrade Shaibu Bello has declared his intentions to contest for Councilor under Ward A in Lokoja Local Government Area of the State
Bello made his intentions known in a statement sent to our correspondent on Monday morning.
He noted that his mission for Ward A in Lokoja Local Government is to attract more development at the grassroots adding that, when given the opportunity to serve, he won’t disappoint his people.
While soliciting for support from Stakeholders of the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC), in Lokoja Local Government, Bello expressed optimism that the party will emerge victorious in the October 19 Council polls.
His words”It will be a privilege and honour for me to serve my people in Ward A under Lokoja Local Government. As a card carrying member of our great Party which is APC, I am convinced that victory is sure Insha Allah. We have done it before and we will do it again.
“Over the years, I have never relent in ensuring that our people feel the true dividend of democracy. Through my little capacity, I secured State Government employment for two Youths in Lokongoma, influenced the construction of two motorized boreholes in Lokongoma and another in Newlayout.
“In addition, I also influenced phase 1 junction and Lokongoma market inlet routes constructed by Kogi State Government. As part of my commitment in promoting education in Lokoja, I influenced the empowerment of three students from JSS1 to SS3 into Majesty International College In Ward A.
“Through my influence, over 54 Students received Jamb scholarship across Ward A. I remain a core, patience and tireless APC fateful who has served the party with utmost loyalty”.
Bello admonished Leaders and APC Stewards to consider his worthiness in doing more for his people in Ward A under Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State.
