Kogi Decides 2023: Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman Visit Former Deputy Governor, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi
The All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Ododo
Ahmed Usman, as part of his consultations to prominent indigenes of the State, today visited Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, former Deputy Governor between 2012 and 2016.
Alhaji Ododo Usman led his entourage and other top notch of the party to the residence of the Mopa-Yagba born politician, former Deputy Governor of Kogi State.
The Kogi State Commissioners For Information, Kingsley Fanwo, Solid Minerals, Engr. Bashiru Gegu, Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja were some personalities in the entourage.
The APC Flagbearer described Awoniyi as a shining example while in leadership, commended his loyalty to Capt. Idris Wada, promised to run an all inclusive administration if elected.
The APC Flagbearer solicited the support of the former Deputy Governor, promised to run an administration that would unite the people, and bring more dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the citizens of the State.
The former Deputy Governor in his remarks, prayed for the APC Flagbearer, wished him success in his aspiration.
Awoniyi urged him if Elected to make the well-being of the people, particularly those at the Grassroots cardinal, appreciated the visited, insisting that if sustained with building of bridges, the State will be better for it.
It will be recalled that since his emergence as the APC Flagbearer, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman has begun a visit to prominent political leaders and opinion moulders from within and outside Kogi State, to seek support and to formerly present himself.
