Kogi decides: Hon. Richard Osaseyi Visits Igbo Community in Lokoja, canvas support for APC Ododo, Assures Inclusiveness in Government

 

In a bid to consolidate support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate, Usman Ododo, The Director General Ododo Neigbour to Neighbour Support Group Hon. Richard Osaseyi paid a visit to the Igbo community in Lokoja, Kogi State. The respected politician and General Manager, Kogi State Signage and Advertisement Agency reassured the community of his commitment to inclusiveness and fair representation in the government.

The visit commenced with a warm reception by the Igbo community leaders, who expressed their delight at the presence of Hon. Osaseyi. The gathering, held at a prominent community center, erupted with joy as the politician arrived, waving and acknowledging the enthusiastic crowd.

Addressing the Igbo community members, Hon. Richard Osaseyi emphasized the importance of unity and inclusivity in ensuring effective governance. He acknowledged the Igbo community’s significant contributions to the development of Lokoja and Kogi State as a whole, highlighting their entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to progress.

Hon. Osaseyi acknowledged the concerns and challenges faced by the Igbo community, particularly in terms of representation and inclusion in decision-making processes. He emphasized that if elected, Usman Ododo’s administration would prioritize inclusiveness and ensure that all segments of society, irrespective of tribe or ethnicity, would have a seat at the table.

“I stand before you today not just as a politician seeking your support but as a representative who genuinely understands the importance of diversity and inclusiveness in governance,” Hon. Osaseyi stated. “The Igbo community has been instrumental in the development of Lokoja, and it is only fair that your voices and needs are represented in the decision-making processes of our government. So, I want you all to come out in solidarity as you stood up for Peter Obi in the last presidential election.

He further pledged to establish a communication channel between the Igbo community and the future Ododo administration, ensuring that their concerns, suggestions, and initiatives would be considered.

Mrs Nweke Esther, the
Igbo woman president commended Hon. Osaseyi for his selfless service to the community and his track record of philanthropic and humanitarian activities over the years. They expressed confidence in his ability to bring positive change to Lokoja and reaffirmed their support for the APC Governorship Candidate, Usman Ododo.

Mrs Nweke Esther expressed his gratitude to Hon. Osaseyi for taking the time to visit and interact with the community. He praised the politician for his commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged and for consistently advocating for the rights and welfare of the Igbo community.

“We are honored to have Hon. Osaseyi here today. His presence alone demonstrates his dedication to the betterment of our community,” Mrs Nweke Esther commented.

“Throughout the years, Hon. Osaseyi has displayed a genuine concern for the less privileged, and his numerous philanthropic projects have shown him as a man who has the interest of the masses.

They assured him of their support and readiness to ensure victory for the APC candidate.

Also speaking at the visit, Hon Paul Ahamefuna Asobele, Special Adviser to the governor on community integration and harmonization and coordinate of Igbo mandate group 4 Ododo-Joel expressed confidence and trust in the Igbo community to mobilise their members from all the 21 local government areas of the state.
