KOGI DEPUTY GOVERNOR EXTOLS THE PEOPLE FOR THEIR UNWAVERING SUPPORT TOWARDS THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION
The People of Kogi State have been Commended for their support to present Administration in the state
The State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu made the remark while addressing a jubilant crowd of the All Progressive Congress members gathered to celebrate the ruling of the Appeal Court which sat in Abuja affirming Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s victory, at Ejule, Ofu Local Government Area.
The Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu said the Administration will continue to promote goal-oriented agenda noting that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is passionate to transform the state.
He reiterated that the overwhelming support from the people of the State is crucial, stressing that the government will continue to fulfill the wishes of the generality of the populace.
Describing the Appeal Court’s verdict in Abuja as a divine validation of the Kogi Agenda, Comrade Joel Salifu pledged not to let down the electorate.
He said Judiciary is the hope of the common man in the society and thanked the legal expert for confirming their mandate given by the people of Kogi State.
Comrade Joel Salifu called on the people to continue in their support for the present administration, stressing that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is well prepared to serve.
Also speaking, the State Commissioner of Agriculture, Honorable Timothy Ojomah Congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy, Joel Salifu for the afirmation of the people’s Mandate given to them and pledge the support of the people of Kogi East to the present Administration to provide dividends of Democracy.
Mr. Ojomah characterized Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu as visionary leaders driving Kogi State towards greatness.
The former Kogi East Zonal Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and now the Director General, Kogi State Community Watch and Ancillary Matters, Honorable Muhammed Nasiru Alfa said it is a new dawn in Kogi State stressing the verdict is well accepted by the people of State.
He called upon the opposition to set aside their differences and collaborate with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Comrade Joel Salifu in elevating the state.
