Kogi Deputy Governor Gov Urges Christian Community to Support Gov. Ododo

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, has urged the Christian community to support the current administration, led by Ahmed Usman Ododo,

The Deputy Governor made this appeal during a meeting with the Concern Christian Brothers and Sisters group in his office Lokoja today 22-10-24. He emphasized that the Governor is a divine blessing, leading the state towards progress, and encouraged the group to intensify prayers for peace and success of the Governor.

Salifu commended Governor Ododo’s Christ-like attributes and commitment to good governance, citing recent approvals for minimum wage and pension Harmonization adjustment with Health Insurance Scheme cover.

He highlighted the group’s shared goals, outlined in their 7-point agenda, and encouraged active engagement in politics to influence decision-making for the betterment of the State.

The leader of the Group Elder Akoh Ogaji Enape, expressed gratitude for the Deputy Governor’s participation and pledged unwavering support for the Government of Kogi State .

The group was encouraged to engage in politics and influence decision-making in the country as such is the only better leaders could be produced.

This meeting demonstrates the collaborative efforts between the Kogi State government and community groups to promote progress and development of the Nation.
