Kogi East : Between Echocho, Halims and Erico,

The political build up in Kogi East need no soothsayers to analyze the prevailing or the build up to the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Going by the current analysis and permutations, no doubt the people’s choice boils down to ranking status from the Senate to House of Representatives in the current and next dispensation.

No doubt , Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims,the Deputy House Leader of the House of Representatives has fulfilled all righteousness either to return to the House of Representatives and or Senate, based on the ranking advantage, experiences, exposures , political exigencies and demands.
Therefore, the speculations of bringing on board rankless members or new members to the House of Representatives and Senate is uncalled for in the next dispensation from Kogi East or Ankpa Federal Constituency.
Attempts to bring on board novice, learners and first timer will not do anything or favor to the Kogi easterners , let not the political players turned the area into usual learning ground for the political class.
Whether we like it or not , Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims has achieved so much to elevate to the Senate and or continue in the House of Representatives, not minding the zoning , consideration, exigencies or political gimmicks among the players.
The least consideration also goes to Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho who is also ranking in the Senate and preferred candidate to return may be out of sympathy to the Senator or preference to any other in the next dispensation.
Echocho , who also came on board and in his second term became Vice Chairman, Senate committee on Finance and current Chairman , Customs and Excise may stand the chance of becoming the Chairman Senate committee on appropriation or finance when returned to the Senate .
Therefore, no one should impose a new comer , a novice a not known lawmaker, a learner into the next Senate as been speculated in favour of Joseph Erico.
For how long Kogi East and Federal House of Representatives continues to be learners as the people of Ankpa, Idah Federal Constituency are benefiting much from it , living Dekina federal constituency behind in the area of development, advancement and political adventure.
Critically , and on the whole , Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims possessed all it takes, from representation, achievements and empowerment of constituents in all ramifications to climb to the ladder of Senate or return to House of Representatives, and or worst happens to Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho and not any novice at this critical point of our lives in Kogi East.
The two duos have cushioned the effects of non representation, public denials , lack of development that confronted the area in the last twelve years of the turn of events in Kogi East among many others.
