Kogi Governorship: Alhaji Ododo’s Comprehensive Blueprint would lead to development – Engr. Bashiru Gegu.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has described the All Progressives Congress Flagbearer for the November Governorship Election, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman as having a comprehensive blueprint that would lead to the development of the State if elected.

Engr. Bashiru made the disclosure at the official Inauguration of the State and Local Government Executives of Ododo Independent Campaign Council held in Lokoja, insisting that the APC Flagbearer has all it takes that would transform the State after Gov. Yahaya Bello’s tenure.
Engr. Bashiru described Alhaji Ododo as a symbol of commitment, loyalty, capacity to drive and consolidate on the achievements of Gov Bello in the State, described him as what the State needs moving forward.
While pointing out that the present administration of Gov Bello has done greatly well in the repositioning of the State in all sectors, explained that having studied under the tutelage of Gov Bello, Alhaji Ododo would hit the ground running and perform greatly in the task of building a virile Kogi State.
The Commissioner who was the Chairman of the Inauguration of the Ododo Independent Campaign Council, described the APC Flagbearer as a Philanthropists per excellence, a Humane personality who’s philanthropic gestures knows no bounds, described the APC and Kogi State as having a saleable candidate in the November governorship election.
Engr. Bashiru described the APC Flagbearer as a dependable pillar that can be trusted if elected as Governor, praised his singular efforts in building hospital, support for the educational sector in the donation of books and payment of fees for indigent students amongst other personal accomplishments as unprecedented, expressed optimism that under Alhaji Ododo, Kogi State will achieve greater heights.
The Commissioner says his optimism is hinged on the fact that Alhaji Ododo has learnt much in governance under Gov. Bello, praised members of the Ododo Independent Campaign Council for being in the forefront and for starting well in the actualization of the Ododo aspiration for the State ahead the November governorship election.
Engr. Bashiru disclosed that the passion of Alhaji Ododo to consolidate on the successes of the Gov. Bello’s administration remains unrivalled, says his quest for humanity, his unifying role of all segments of the State, is a further attestation to his determination in building a virile Kogi State.
The Commissioner assured that under the administration of Alhaji Ododo, the State will witness more infrastructure, industrialization, employment opportunities that would cater for the State teeming youths, as well as attract investors to the State.
Engr. Bashiru expressed optimism of an overwhelming victory for the APC in the forthcoming November governorship election, pointing out that based on antecedents, the APC Flagbearer remains the only option for the State.
Earlier in a paper presentation titled: Unveiling of a political phenomenon, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman by Dr. Adeiza Yahaya Omuya, he described Alhaji Ododo as an enigma, a phenomenon, described him as a saleable candidate for the forthcoming November governorship election.
The paper presenter described Kogi State as a heterogeneous and developing State, with challenges, reasons why the personality of Alhaji Ododo remains veritable for the State.
He urged the Independent Campaign Council to work assiduously for the emergence of Alhaji Ododo in the November governorship election, said he has all it takes to be able to confront and tackle the challenges that would make the State attain it full potentials.
The guest speaker described Alhaji Ododo as a credible personality, with capacity and competence to take the State to it zenith, urge members of the Ododo Independent Campaign Council to be Vanguard in ensuring that victory is attained by the APC Flagbearer.
The guest speaker urged the Members to drive their campaign on ideology, described the APC Flagbearer as a Professional and certified Accountant, with unquenchable thirst for humanity, described him as what Kogi State needs moving forward.
Highlights of the occasion was the inauguration of the State and Local Government Coordinators of Ododo Independent Campaign Council Progressive Support Movement.
