Kogi Guber 2023: Dr. Ogbo Hosts 49 Polling Units Chairmen of Ankpa Township Ward, Charge them to deliver for APC, Ododo’s Candidacy
The Director, Research and Planning for Kogi State All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship Campaign Council, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman has again reiterated his aversion for failure and charged 49 Polling Units chairmen of Ankpa Township Ward in Ankpa LGA to renew their efforts in the quest to deliver theirs wards for the party.
The meeting which was at the instance of Dr. Usman was held at Angwa Ogebe community in Ankpa Township Ward had in attendance the Polling Units Chairmen drawn from across the 49 Polling Units on Monday 30th October, 2023.
Dr. Usman is his address disclosed that the essence for the meeting was to charge them to be more committed to fulfilling Ododo’s mandate, appeal to units head to continue engaging aggrieved party members and as well to make some clarifications regarding the purported rumour been spread by the opposition parties.

He stressed that His Excellency, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu who has seen the capacity and competency in the Continuity and Consolidation plan of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is 100 percent supporting the candidacy of the APC whilst urging the 49 Polling Units Chairmen to remain steadfast and committed in carrying out their entrusted responsibilities and duties across– the– board.
The academic icon who major in political economy called on them to be more united in the face of needless onslaught from members of the opposition parties whilst insisting that the APC which is clearly in the lead has no reason to engage in any divisive tactics or campaign of calumny against anyone.
Dr. Usman advised party officers to engaged any perceived aggrieved members and always called to his attention if need be to address relatives issues.
He further noted that the purported rumours from the opposition parties are selfishly driven just as he charged the party officers to ensure overwhelming victory of the ruling APC in the forthcoming November 11th Governorship election in the state.
Ankpa Township Ward Chairman, Hon. Danladi Negedu appreciated wholesomely the leadership acumen of Dr. Usman whom he said has brought about meaningful development to Ankpa community and as well entrenched grassroots connections by consistently engaging the ward executives of the party and for his continued quest to unite agrieved party faithfuls in local chapters which is poised towards ensuring APC victory at the November poll.
Speaking in turns, Hon. Yunusa Dauda from Unit 020 Ankpa Township Ward who spoke amidst other Heads of various respective Units appreciated Dr. Usman’s efforts and achievements who they said has shown capacity and genuinety in terms of bringing leaders of the party together.
They reiterated their support and endorsement for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman governorship ambition.
The 49 Polling units head has also declared their total support to the APC candidate and expressed commitment to canvasing votes across various household that makes up the 49 Polling units in Ankpa township Ward.
