Kogi Guber: NNPP collapses structure for Labour Party’s Barr. Adejoh Okeme

The New Nigeria People’s Party, (NNPP) has collapsed it’s party structure in support of Barrister Adejoh Okeme, the Governorship Candidate of Labour Party .

Kabiru Maman ,the Zonal Chairman of NNPP, who led supporters to declare support for Okeme said that his members arrived at the decision to join forces with Labour after a careful scrutiny of all parties aspiring to the governorship position and have found him worthy in view of his promises to work tirelessly to alleviate the poverty of the youths.

“We are particularly fascinated by his promise to revive Ajaokuta steel company to create job opportunities for our teaming youths.

“We also see him as someone under which the resources of the state will be safe and ensure that everyone gets what is due to him” he said.

 

Earlier, the Kogi State Labour Party Chairman Alhaji Abdul Suleiman while welcoming the newly decampees said his party is confident of producing the next democratically elected Governor in Kogi State.

He emphacized that, the party is well structured and formidable, adding that, despites the anomalies and disenfranchisement in the 2023 general election, Labour party came first in Kogi State.

According to him, the party is fielding a Candidate that is formidable, reputable, adding that, unlike other party candidate, their Candidate has no questionable character.

“Our enemies will come out to say that Labour Party don’t have structure and we are not strong. You are coming into a party were everybody is treated equally. So, we are very optimistic for victory because Labour Party is not criminally minded and has no skeleton in their cupboard

The Governorship Candidate of Labour Party in the forthcoming Kogi Governorship election Barr. Adejoh Okeme stated that his agenda for Kogi State is security, peaceful coexistence, prompt payment of salaries, pension, gratuities, health care delivery, educational development, agricultural revolution, industrialization and investment, infrastructural development, youths women and sports, and Local Government autonomy.

He described himself as someone who has been tested in the area of job creation and youth employment who has also invested in the state due to the love I have for the people of the state as opposed to other candidates who had no single investment in the state.

“All others has their investments outside Kogi while the youth at home has no jobs while insecurities becomes rampant in the state”, Okeme noted.
