Kogi Guber: Okun United For Ododo Storms Isanlu, Organises Grand Okun Walk For APC Governorship Candidate
Ahead the Kogi Governorship election slated for November 11th, 2023, a group created for the actualisation of the victory of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Okun United For Ododo Friday stormed Isanlu, the headquarters of Yagba East Local Government Area for a Grand Okun Walk.
Okun United For Ododo were received by massive crowd from different groups to showcase their support and readiness for the victory of the APC Governorship candidate in the forthcoming November 11th Kogi state Governorship election.
Addressing the tumultuous crowd, the Kogi state Security Adviser who also double as the Cordinator of Okun United For Ododo, Cmdr Jerry Omodara thanked the people of Yagba East in particular and Okun at large for coming out en-mass to receive them, while assuring them that their trust in the APC would not be betrayed.
Cmdr Jerry Omodara appeal to them to come out en-mass in the forthcoming Kogi state Governorship election and vote overwhelmingly for the APC Governorship candidate whom he noted would give more gains of democracy to kogites when elected as Governor, noting that Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has all it takes to lead Kogi state to a great hight where all kogites would experience massive and superlative development across the nooks and crannies of Kogi state.
On his part, the Director General of Okun United For Ododo, Hon. Alfred Bello said Okun Nation has no alternative to the APC Governorship candidate, stressing that, the only hope left for Okun Nation is to vote massively for the victory of the APC if her desires and agitation of producing the Governor must become a reality, noting that Ododo would definitely handover to Okun Nation after completion of his tenure and appeal to them to be patient and support the victory of the APC.
The Secretary General of Okun United For Ododo, Prince Philips Orebiyi stressed the need for Okun people to resiprocate the gesture of Governor Yahaha Bello for the establishment of the Kogi state University Kabba which he noted was established to take care of the long agitation of the Okun people who have been yearning for a university.
He urged them to support the sustainance of the university by coming out in their large numbers in the forthcoming Kogi state Governorship election and vote massively for the APC Governorship candidate for a better and prosperous Kogi state.
On her part, the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Folashade Ayoade appeal to the crowd to demonstrate their large turn out on the November 11th Kogi state Governorship election and vote overwhelmingly for the APC Governorship candidate whom she noted would sustain the legacy of Governor Yahaha Bello when elected as Governor.
While responding, the executive Chairman of Yagba East Local Government Area, Hon. Asiru Abdulrasak Ijagbemi commended Okun United For Ododo for their doggedness and commitment for the actualisation and victory of the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, noting that the APC candidate will win hundred percent votes in the forthcoming election.

On his part, the executive Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government Area, Hon. Sunday Moses said Okun is APC while APC is Okun, noting that there is no opportunity for any other party in Okun land.
Hon. Sunday Moses appreciated Governor Yahaha Bello for the establishment of Kogi state university Kabba and promised that the APC Governorship candidate will win convincingly in Okun land owing to the numerous achievements recorded by Governor Yahaha Bello in the region.
Speaking at the Grand Okun Walk in Isanlu, the executive Chairman of Yagba West Local Government Area, Hon. Pius Kolawole said the only option left for the Okun Nation is to support the APC Governorship candidate, stressing that the APC candidate would response positively on the agitations of Okun Nation becoming the Governor of Kogi state.

There were good will messages from Hon. Victor Ade Omofaiye, Kogi state Commissioner for Environment, Hon Qeen Toyin, the executive Vice Chairperson of Yagba East LGA, Hon. Racheal Otitolaiye, executive Vice Chairperson of Ijumu LGA, Hon. Tade Oshaloto, Hon. Wakil, former Administrators of Yagba West and Yagba East respectively, party starlwarts, amongst others.
