Otunba Olayemi
A chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress in Kogi West, Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi has described the exit of Engr. Matthew Ajigi from the main opposition People’s Democratic Party in Kabba-Bunu into APC as a testimony of Governor Yahaya Bello’s legacy projects that have impacted the state positively in all ramifications.
He disclosed this in a telephone chat with DemocracyNewsline’s reporter.
According to him, he is glad that many PDP stalwarts could see what he saw when he decided to join the ruling party few months ago, stressing that there is no gainsaying that politics is a vehicle for development hence the performance of the current administration in state has become the major factor of attraction to the opposition members.
He noted that the flyover bridge, Buhari Civic Center, remodeling of the State Specialist Hospital, all in Lokoja, aside the brand new University in Osara and Reference Hospital, Okene and the establishment of the third state owned university sited in Kabba is more than enough to convince anyone to join the APC.
He commended Engr. Matthew Ajigi for seeing the light at the right time and making his decision to join the winning team.
