Kogi Guber:Buba heap praises on Gov. Bello, task Women to vote APC

The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Fatima Kabir Buba has called on Women in the State to cast their votes for Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC) Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo in the November 11th Governorship election.

Buba made the appeal on Wednesday during the flagoff ceremony of Lokoja Local Government campaign rally held in the State Capital.

The Commissioner who eulogized Governor Yahaya Bello for his giant stride in Kogi State stated that, Kogites needs someone who will consolidate the achievement of the present administration.

While pointing that, the APC candidate and his deputy Joel Oyibo has the antecedent to bring smiles to the people of Kogi because of their track record, Buba reiterated that, more Women will be given the opportunity to serve in the next APC administration.

He admonished Kogites to vote for the APC Governorship Candidate Alhaji Usman Ododo in a bid to sustain the legacies of the present administration.

According to her, Kogites should not be distracted by ethnic politics, but rather focus their attention on a credible candidate like Ododo who will not disappoint his people.

” We are indeed grateful to our father, leader, mentor and our precious Governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for making Kogi State the dream for all. His administration recorded an unprecedented development that even the opposition are speechless because they don’t have anything to say negatively about the Government of Kogi State.

“His transparency in Kogi State has made us have sense of belonging that our position as Women is not in the kitchen.

“In the history of Kogi State, more Women were included in Governance which is contrary to what happened in the past. Because of his love for a better tomorrow for Kogi, our amiable Governor is throwing is weight behind Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo our flower boy to continue his good work.

“It is on this note, I am appealing to Women and the entire people of Kogi State to deliver 100 percent for Ododo/ Joel come November 2023. We are very certain that victory is sure for APC” she stated.

Earlier, the APC Campaign Council Chairman who also doubles as the leader of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Alhaji Sulaiman Baba Ali, while addressing mammoth crowd who graced the ocassion described the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his running mate as the best ticket for Kogi State in the forthcoming election.

The APC Stewart called the entire people of Lokoja to support Ododo/Joel by coming out en-mass to canvass and cast their votes for the All Progressive Congress candidates on November 11, 2023.

According to him, electing the APC would bring more benefits and dividends of democracy to Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.

Some of the prominent individuals that graced the includes Hon. Saidu Akawu Salihu, Co-Chairman of the Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency; Hon. Danladi Aguye, House representative member for Lokoja/KKF constituency; Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources.

Other includes Hon. Mohammed Danasebe, Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government; Hon. Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani, member representing Lokoja 1 State constituency; Alhaji Suleiman Babadoko, Co-Chairman of Kogi state APC gubernatorial campaign council; Alhaji Bature Maikudi, and Hon. Fancy-jimoh Tiamiyu, Director General of Lokoja Local Government APC Campaign Council; amongst others.

Highpoint of the campaign rally is the defection of over 1000 individuals from Ward B and Ward C belonging to People Democratic Party, (PDP), Labour Party, Social Development Party, (SDP), Africa Democratic Congress, (ADC) to the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC).
