KOGI KOTON KARFE COMMUNITY LAUD BASHIR GEGU FOR FREE MEDICAL TREATMENT

The people of Kogi Koton Karfe Local Government in Kogi State have expressed profound appreciation to the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Hon. Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, for his extraordinary kindness in providing free medical treatment to those in need.

On Monday, June 10, 2024, Gegu Beki Ultra Modern General Hospital in Kogi Local Government was filled with joy and gratitude as people from all walks of life received free medical care, courtesy of Hon. Engr. Bashir Gegu’s generosity.

Mallama Asmau Isa, a beneficiary of the free medical treatment, expressed her deepest gratitude to Engr. Bashir Gegu, applauding his philanthropic efforts for making a significant impact on the lives of many individuals and families. She noted that his compassion has left an indelible mark on the hearts of the beneficiaries.

She also extended her appreciation to His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for recognizing Engr. Bashir Gegu’s exceptional qualities and to His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his supportive leadership and prioritization of the state’s welfare.

The free medical exercise covers a comprehensive range of screenings and tests, including RBS, RVS, HBP, Widal, Urinalysis, MP, TBD, TBS, BG, and Genotype. The doctors successfully diagnosed and referred patients for therapy, providing a new lease on life for many.

Hon Engr Bashir Gegu’s selfless act has demonstrated his commitment to the well-being of the community, and his legacy of compassion will continue to inspire others.
