Kogi LG Polls: Engr. Kayode Solomon commends KOSIEC for conducting peaceful and  credible election, cast his vote in Obele, Okedayo ward in Kabba-Bunu LGA

The convener of Ododo Progressive Movement (OPM), Engr. Kayode Solomon has commended the State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) for conducting a hitch free, credible and transparent council elections in the state.

Engr Kayode, who spoke to newsmen shortly after casting his vote at Obele Unit in Okedayo ward in Kabba-Bunu Local Government area, commended KOSIEC for the timely arrival of voting materials at all the various polling units across the ward.

“I am happy with the arrangements, polling materials arrived on time, and as you can see the voting began very early.

“You can see that the people are conducting themselves in a peaceful manner because this is actually the election of the people that will usher in grassroot leaders.

He also used the opportunity to commend Governor Ahmed Ododo for honouring his promises of ensuring a credible and transparent election to the people of Kogi State, stressing that the process was peaceful and orderly.
